Dear Supporters,
Greetings to you all in the lovely name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! We praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve Him in these fleeting days! August was a busy month and we’re grateful for every invitation that was extended to us to come and serve there.
I started out the month preaching for Brother Kerry Jordan and the sweet people of the Fort Hope Baptist Church in Leesville, Louisiana, what a blessed time of worship and fellowship I experienced there with these dear saints.
From Leesville we went to preach in the annual Bible Conference for Brother Mike Stanley and the friendly folk of Friendship Baptist Church in Highland, Arkansas. This is a great meeting that is designed to offer encouragement and help to Pastors and their families, many come and receive just that.
After finishing up the meeting n Arkansas Joni and I traveled to Pontotoc, Mississippi to preach for Brother Steve Parrish and the precious saints at the Greatest Mission Baptist Church. The Lord met with us in a great way, and we experienced His manifested presence in each service.
Upon the conclusion of the meeting in Pontotoc I traveled to Gaffney, South Carolina to preach for Brother Clifford Phillips and the faithful congregation for the High Point Baptist Church. While I was there, I also had the opportunity to preach for Brother Cogan East and the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blacksburg, South Carolina for one night as well as Brother Mike Davis and the Converse Baptist Church on the following Sunday morning. All three of these opportunities were blessed with sweet fellowship and the moving of the Holy Spirit in our midst.
The month closed out with me being a part of the annual “Wall of Grace” ministry conference. Brother Fred Morris is the director of this great ministry that concentrates on helping pastors and evangelist that find themselves in financial need. I was privileged to once again take part in this endeavor.
In conclusion, allow me to thank each one of you for your financial and prayer support, we are laborers together and without you doing your part we couldn’t do ours. May the Lord bless you; we love you all!
Brother Mark Thrift
